The Practice

A forensic and clinical practice built on rigor.

Carson Valley Psychological Services provides comprehensive forensic, neuropsychological, and general psychological assessment across Northern Nevada and California. Our clinicians are licensed clinical-forensic psychologists who offer expert-witness services and evidence-based care.

The heart of the practice is forensic psychological evaluation. We conduct assessments of competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility and sanity at the time of the offense, violence and sexual-offense risk, and psychological suitability for mental health diversion, alongside emotional-injury and other civil evaluations. Each opinion is grounded in standardized testing, thorough record review, and the governing legal standard, and is prepared to withstand scrutiny in court.

We also provide law enforcement pre-employment and fitness-for-duty evaluations in Nevada and California, and deliver telehealth assessment and psychotherapy across the 43 PSYPACT states.
